The Answer...

Mysterious Belgain designer Martin Margiela is the man behind the avant-garde label, Maison Martin Margiela...the answer to yesterday's quiz.  There isn't a lot of information to be found regarding the extremely discreet Margiela who has managed to stay out of the public eye, but at the same time has made a massive impact in the world of fashion.  Apparently, Margiela has left the brand (official as of December 2009) handing the reins of Maison Martin Margiela over to a new and fresh design team.

OK everyone, the answer to yesterday's fashion quiz is John Richmond!  Congrats to "fadetoblack" who nailed it!  The grand prize is... knowing that you are a true fashionista!  Sorry, but that's all I have to offer right now :)

If you compare these pieces to the photos in the post below, it's clear that Richmond has a point of view.  He's managed to update and refine his aesthetic while maintianing his brand inegrity.
