I started with the first day in Guilin, where we checked into Backstreet Youth Hostel and then we visited the Elephant Trunk Hill on a raft.
After that, instead of continuing with what we did on the remaining part of the first day, I decided to fast forward to the fifth day where we went on the fantastic Li River Cruise to Yangshuo.
Of course, a lot of interesting things happened between the first and fifth day, so I shall return to the first day again in future posts. I thought it will be more interesting to blog in this manner instead of following in sequence from Day 1 to Day 10.
On reaching Yangshuo, we followed the tour bus and visited five famous tourist attractions namely Jian Shan Temple, Big Banyan Tree, Moon Hill, Ju Long Tan Cave and Exotic Stone Palace.
After that, we had a thrill riding on a bike in Yangshuo street to reach Xi Jie Youth Hostel.
During that evening in Yangshuo, we visited the famous West Street and had a good time.
Now that I have brought you up to date regarding my China trip posts, let's continue from we left off, shall we?
However, I know some of you are waiting for the conclusion as to whether we paid the tour company for the Li River Cruise and tour around Yangshuo. All I can say is that during the two days that we stayed in Yangshuo, they did not contact us. We also did not hear from them the following day when we visited Xingping. On our return to Yangshuo on the 8th day of our China trip, we had already forgotten about them!
But I would like to hint that something happened to us on the 9th day when we were back in Guilin. Now shall I fast forward to the 9th day? Or shall I continue blogging from where we left off in Yangshuo?
I really don't know. Maybe you can help me decide. Tell me what would you like me to do. I think I will follow the majority. Thanks for following my story, dear readers!
